Taken August 26, 2011. Food trucks are now coming by my work every Friday until mid November. I'm so excited. However, this meal ended up unsettling my stomach. It was a 30 minute wait, only to end up being quite greasy and not so flavorful.

I got to have dinner with Sheena today. Although we don't see each other often, when we get together it's like we're just as we left off. I love friends like that.

Taken August 22. We got to babysit my sister-in-laws kids. One of the little girls decided it would be fun to wear my heels. She was actually pretty quick walking around in them so I had a hard time taking a picture of her. Hence the blurry picture.

Taken August 19. We've had this orchid since the end of last year. It lost all it's flowers, but I was pretty adamant in trying to keep it alive. I was about to just give up, but my mom told me that it's doing well and to just wait. Sure enough, these pretty babies started to pop up. I checked again today and there's even more. I'm so excited!

Tomorrow is Battle of the Bay day at work. We get to wear jeans and a football shirt or jersey. I don't have one, but luckily for me I'm small enough to fit into my hubby's nephews pop warner jersey. Go Titans!

My coworker got me these cute makeup bags for my birthday. Love them! She's only known me for a few months and yet she's got my style down pretty well.

Taken today. Finally caught up on this project again. Today was filled with hospital visits. Taking care of my hubby while he's pretty immobile. Waiting for results aren't so fun.

Taken 8.10.11 - Turns out the florists sent me a completely different bouquet than what my hubby ordered. Either way, they turned out pretty.

Taken 8.1.11 - As part of Vacation Bible School, the kids got to dye and color backpacks for the Kid to Kid project. They donated $2, which was used to purchase a Spanish Bible that went into the backpacks they made. All backpacks and Bibles will be sent to children in South America. I loved it when a kid put in a bag of pennies. That must've been pennies she was saving for herself.

Taken 7.31.11 - There was a bridal fair in the city that weekend. Since family was here for Stacy's civil wedding, we decided to all go to the fair to help her plan for the bigger wedding. I love this sign that was on one of the photobooths.

Taken 7.29.11 - Stacy's night before her civil wedding. I actually drove to the city and parallel parked on a hill! Too stressful for a night out with the girls. But I did it! God is good.

Taken 7.28.11 - The first week of August was Vacation Bible School. This year, it somehow was combined with two other churches and planned in about a month and a half. This was the 12 tribes signs for Vacation Bible School. Throughout all the stress and drama amongst certain people, I had to continue to pray and remind myself that this was God's program and it was for the children.

Taken 7.26.11 - Yogurtland was having a Hello Kitty promotion. My favorite part: the spoons. They're reusable and too cute. Now I've got something extra cute to keep in my purse for my random hungry moods.

Make Me A Servant
This week was Vacation Bible School, which is basically a week long Bible Camp for kids. Just 2 hours every day, for one week. The whole program seemed to be thrown together in about 2 months. I was the lead for my church, despite having little time to truly put in the work it needs.
This was our last song of Opening Worship for Vacation Bible School today. I love it. I haven't heard this song in awhile. So simple and means so much. I can't even explain how this made me feel today. After all the praying and stress that we all had to endure to make Vacation Bible School happen, this song really put everything in perspective.

I love it!
