New Blog Home

I love the way Tumblr is set up. I just made an account. Now to set it up and now it's time to give my blog a new home.

I just have a few questions I need to answer:

Should I move my blogger posts or just start fresh? I'm thinking start fresh...

Should I combine my food blog and my regular blog or make 2 separate tumblr blogs? I'm starting to think I should combine them...

Book Tour - Creative, Inc.

I'm so excited. I just went to Borders and ordered the book Creative, Inc. by Meg Ilasco and Joy Cho. I'm very sad it wasn't at Borders. In fact, they told me it's not in any Borders store. So the guy just helped me order it to be shipped to my house.

I follow Joy's blog Oh Joy! and Oh Joy Eats blog, as well as follow her on Twitter, and I must say, I am quite addicted to everything she posts. She has such colorful and creative items. Even food! Her Oh Joy Eats tweets are great. She's going to be in San Francisco for a mini book tour and I really want to go. It's going to be about a block and a half away from a BART stop, so that's even better. (I try and avoid going to the city unless it's easily accessible.)

I can't wait for the book to arrive. Please Mr. Postman, hurry up!

Dear 'N Sync,

Can you please sing Happy Birthday to me instead of Rosie?

Thanks!

Make Me Whole

I love music. I love a wide range of music too. For me, music is an outlet to get away, de-stress, celebrate, release pain and emotions, and so much more. For some, it's a way to save themselves from their own selves. A lot of times it's the only way people know how to say what they really mean.

For me, that's exactly it. To me, songs are a great way to say how you really feel. For anyone that knows, my vows were a true train wreck. I really did have a point, but I could not get it out correctly. But hey, that made our wedding all the more personal right? I got to show my true self and how I'm such a mess. *sigh* If I did have enough courage, this was what I really wanted to do for my vows. This song felt perfect, at least to me. My close friend played for our ceremony, so it would have been perfect to just ask her to play this for me as well. Needless to say, I did not have enough courage to do this. I probably wouldn't have been able to finish without crying anyways.
