Cursive

What happened to cursive? It's really disappearing now that everyone has computers and cell phones. My writing consists of half cursive, half not. I have a tendency to link some letters, but not others. I think I'm making it a goal this week to write in cursive more.

Recently I've been accumulating more magazines and I can't get myself to recycle them. The top one is my fav. I got it in Australia and their style is so great. I want most of the stuff in it, but I can't get them. =(

Christchurch, NZ

When my hubby and I went to Christchurch, NZ last year, they had just gone through a pretty big earthquake. We even called Hotel So, where we planned to stay, to make sure that they were still physically okay for when we visit. They said they were fine, but a few roads were still blocked around them. We felt a pretty decent sized earthquake the first day we were there. It wasn't too fun since we were on the 6th floor of our hotel. We ended up having a great time there, despite those few aftershocks we felt.

About a week ago, they were hit again with a huge earthquake. 6.3. This time there were some fatalities. It made me and my hubby pretty sad. Just praying for those that are there. Hoping for the best and remembering what it was like there.

The Canterbury Museum, which used to be a College campus.

 Awesome artwork that hung in the middle of the museum. It looked different from every angle.

Downtown Christchurch. They had lots of food trucks that would just park in the middle of the center.

I say this a lot, but I do love my family. We're such foodies. Even my cousins 3 yr old makes sure to have food in her bag. Mamon (Filipino sponge cake) and a to-go packet of seaweed. She was so proud of it too!

It rained pretty bad all morning. I got pretty soaked when I got to work. But, we do need the rain, so it was nice. Forecasts claim it will actually snow in the Bay Area, but we'll see. I just dont think it's cold enough.

Tita Aida went back to Australia tonight. We printed a bunch of pictures of our wedding and our trip to Australia to visit her so that we could put it in an album for her to have during her plane flight. We're going to miss her.

Although I've been eyeing this for awhile, I wasn't going to buy this pair because it was 5.5 and I didn't think it would fit. My wonderful hubby decided to surprise me & buy it for me. It arrived yesterday. I couldn't help but admire it again today before bed.

Fruit Stickers!

Okay, so it's heart and love month. I can't help enjoying all the love decor and fun stuff that's out there. I never really got into the fact that guys have to give the girl something and really celebrate it. I just think that love should be celebrated all the time.

Anyways, I'll probably be posting more things about love since it's out there all month. =D Twig & Thistle created these DIY fruit stickers that I thought were very cute. Instead of handing out Valentine candies, why not just give out Valentine fruit?
