I've begun my own beauty section in my cubicle at work. My lipstick packaging was too pretty to throw away.

Whole Foods cherries were so delicious. We couldn't stop eating it all. My camera apparently had such a hard time capturing it's beauty that night. Too bad.

As I lay in bed, I realized I almost forgot to take my picture of the day, but I was too lazy to get out of bed.

This past weekend we got to enjoy a sleepover at my sister-in-laws house with the rest of the siblings and their kids. Love the family time.

15 things to do before a baby
So I found this link on The Nest on the 15 things to do before you have a baby. I thought I'd see how much I've done on this list.
- Go on a wine-tasting tour at a vineyard. Check. Hubby and I even got a chance to do this in New Zealand. It's gorgeous over there.
- Go skydiving/bungee jumping/swimming with sharks...or whatever other crazy, life-risking thing you’ve got on your bucket list. Incomplete. To be honest, I've never actually had any of this on my bucket list. I've never really had the "want" to do this, so it actually doesn't feel too bad that I can't check this off.
- Make a list of all the restaurants and bars you've been meaning to check out -- and go. Incomplete. Man, if I did this, I'd be going out every day. Although, this is a good thing to do, so I may create a new spreadsheet for it. I'm quite excited.
- Appreciate the bathroom -- alone. Check. I love the bathroom. Weird, I know, but I do.
- Stop being so self-righteous. Check. As much as I would like to ignore this fact, our child will throw tantrums. It's inevitable.
- Take a road trip. Check. I've been lucky enough to be able to take mini road trips with family and with the hubby. Growing up, the family always took road trips to Las Vegas. My longest road trip was with my family to Vancouver, Canada. What a trip!
- Be spontaneous. Check.
- Spend an entire day in bed together watching movies. Check. I always feel weird at first because I feel like I should be doing more, but in the end, it feels great to do nothing.
- Have boozy lunches with friends. Check. Love these.
- Feed your minimalist side. Check. The article was talking about buying a white couch and drinking wine on it before all the kids come and topple it over.
- Have morning sex. Check.
- Be the last ones to leave the party. Check.
- Fly first class. Incomplete. I've always wanted to do this. Maybe we'll do this on our trip to Hawaii this year.
- Wear as much silk, cashmere, dry-clean-only clothing as you possibly can, while you still can. Check. I don't always veer towards fancy clothes, but I do wear dry-clean-only clothing.
- Take a career risk. Check. I still feel like there are more career risks that may come along that I may go for, but so far I've done what has come my way.

Went to my first Pussycat Dolls dance class. I brought these heels just in case, but it turns out we can't bring outside heels. We had to use their heels so we don't ruin the floor. Either way, no one used heels during the class. So much fun! I never realized how hard it is for me to remember a dance routine.

For awhile now, I've been trying to better my relationship with God. I'm still trying to find a good way to read the Bible. Going from beginning to end is kind of hard for me and makes me confused. My dad gave me great advice and just said, "Always pray before you read the Bible. God will help you to understand. That's the best way to do it." Gotta love my dad. God is good.

Mad Fish has this really cute sake bottle and cup. The sake was only $0.33, which says a lot about how it tasted. Blech.

The hotel that we stayed at for the bachelorette had awesome games stashed in the room for us. My sister was able to write congrats on their mini Etch-A-Sketch.

My picture of the day was actually going to be something pretty inappropriate for my blog. It was supposed to be a cake that I had baked for my best friends bachelorette, which ended up being completely horrible. I thought that was the only picture I had taken for the day, but realized I took a picture of my food that night too.

We got 2 invitations a few days ago that I thought had real cute details. Can't wait for these events for such lovely people in my life.
Never Judge A Book By It's Cover
Seriously, NEVER judge a book by it's cover. I couldn't stand Russell Brand, but this interview truly changed me. It's just his job, his work. Loved it.

Sickness is no fun. But these Puffs with Vicks help so much. Sometimes I just breathe real hard and smell the Vicks before blowing my nose.

I could spend hours at Daiso, a Japanese dollar store. Everything is so cheap and so cute. I love it. These cute tissue packets were too hard to resist.

Happy Mother's Day to the best mom a woman could ever ask for. She really made me who I am today. I love her.

For the Paquiao vs. Mosley fight, we went to buy snacks. Found out the hubby never had Pik-Nik before, so I had to get it. It brings be back.

Happy Sabbath
Carrie Underwood killed it! This performance made me cry. You can truly hear the emotion and passion in her voice. It reminds me of my grandparents. God is good.

I love when businesses take time to fix the small things in their business. Sola Salon in Pleasanton has really cute bathroom stall coat hangers.

Yay! I'm finally caught up again. I was actually pretty consistent and on track since the end of last week. I couldn't resist purchasing these colorful cards and envelopes. The colors are so beautiful.

We had so much leftovers from the birthday surprise weekend in Half Moon Bay the ended up at our house. So, we hosted a dinner to eat everything before they all went bad. That meant bringing out our fancy tablecloth.

The following day in Half Moon Bay, we upped the surprise and had family and friends come for a birthday BBQ for the 2 men. We made cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and cotton candy on top. Delicious!

The day after my hubby's birthday, April 29th, we had a surprise birthday dinner for him and his brother-in-laws birthday at Half Moon Bay. As you can see, the kiddies got to the bundt cake.

I'm pretty upset because I missed some days this past week for taking pics, BUT...Happy birthday to my hubby. =D
